Keeping of Significant Controllers Register and Designated representative of Significant Controllers Register Under the Companies (Amendment) Ordinance 2018, with effective on 1 March 2018, all Hong Kong companies must maintain Significant Controllers Register which will be accessible by law enforcement officers.

Each company must designate a person as its representative to provide assistance to law enforcement officers. Failure to comply with the above obligations is a criminal offence, and are liable to a fine at level 4.
